Exploring everyday life

Welcome to Ariadni’s thread

According to the Greek mythology, Ariadni (or better Ariadne) has is famous for her thread and labyrinth. Her father Minos (king of Crete) put her in charge of the labyrinth where sacrifices were made to the gods (Poseidon or Athena). When Theseus arrived in Crete to fight with the Minotaur, Ariadni fell in love with him. In order to save him, she offered him a piece of thread to show him the way out from the chaotic labyrinth.

Since then, Ariadni’s thread has been linked with problem solving. When naming the blog, I thought that my side of presenting my world and experiences (my trace of thread) would be sort of a guide for other people in this wonderful labyrinth called life – therefore my own “Ariadni’s thread”.

Welcome and enjoy your stay! 🙂
