I have shown Copenhagen’s main Library or Hovedbibliotek before in this post but this time I got to take some extra photos of its interior. Libraries in Denmark are very different from those in my homecountry and what I had in mind before; here they are always modern, colourful, equipped with great computer facilities, nice cafes, playgrounds, CDs and DVDs apart from books of every kind and their primary use is for entertainment. Personally, I would put that into the list of top attractions in Denmark. The only library that I have found so far to be different from this standard is the so advertised Black Diamond, but in my opinion, the rest of them are far better.
In such Danish libraries, you will get in touch with people ranging from small kids, university students, families up to old people relaxing with technology or reading.
