Hyggelig is the word: My danish understanding –> Idea: Entertainment, Food and drinks

Danes have a very specific word: hyggelig.

I am not sure whether I have got the proper meaning but this is what I would call hyggelig (free translation: warm, cozy, comfortable and nice, usually used for houses, cafes or even situations).  On a late afternoon after work, I sat with my boyfriend to have a nice caramel latte macchiatto and a cinnamon chai latte together with some cookies, right by my huge window with the sun warming us. Despite all the dish washing I had to do afterwards, I enjoyed it and I’m thinking to make it a weekly habit 😀 🙂
