Exploring everyday life

Summer mood in Koufonisia

In the past years, I often heard that many of my friends aimed to visit the small island Koufonisi (there are 2, one of which uninhabited), and I decided after all these years to see for myself. It is amazing how such a tiny island can leave such a great impression on you. Of course, Santorini is extraordinary, of course Naxos is one of the best islands I have visited and I can go on for hours…but this tiny gem was something else. I have to warn you not go if you are looking for parties and fancy lifestyle. You choose this island for the isolation, for the calmness, for the ‘pool’ like turquoise water and ‘hard to find’ internet connection. Yes, for some reason, being away from civilization just for a day was the highlight of our holidays. And we promised to ourselves to go there again.

I start with just 4 pictures and will go on posting more! I hope you like the colour of the water, it was really impressing!
