Exploring everyday life

Just a little coffee

Just as the weekend is coming now, I really hope you have great weather wherever you are. I sure miss the good Greek weather so much (post-holiday sadness), but I am forcing myself to go out and get used to the Danish summer autumn 🙂 (hehe)

It’s good that Copenhagen is quite lively at the moment!  Tourists are flooding the city and the weather has its sunny moments (25 degrees celcius, I am amazed), with some often strange breaks of thunderstorms after a hot day.

I have been going for coffee or food almost every day this week to enjoy the sunshine! I visited Torvehallerne (soon to post) for food, Nyhavn for ice-cream and many cafes for a lovely cappuccino (equals necessity). Here are some photos from one of the Laundromat cafe’s in Copenhagen in Frederiksberg (I think there is one more at least in the city).

Have a great weekend!

Violet

Violet colour in Malmo’s suburbs, at an area 2km from the central station, which amazed me with how good it was.

Test: Aperture-focal length

Testing aperture and focal length here. I love the blurry background but I am still trying to figure out what different image each of my lens can offer.

Any readers with same struggles? 🙂

Kicking off the week

Just to continue the series of my attempt to learn my new Canon, here is a photoshoot of my home interior and some relaxation moments. Currently the goal is to familiarize myself with aperture and shallow depth of field, so I can get this blurry background that I adore.

Current difficulty: either a dark-black photo or a shaken one, since somehow  end up using a long shutter speed.

As I say, learning how to use the camer is worse than driving a car! But we’ll get there!!! 🙂
