Lately I have been visiting so many museums, I have really dipped into culture! Unfortunately time was very limited for uploading posts, but I am slowly back on track!
Statens Museum for Kunst is Copenhagen’s Art Museum (I am really not an expert). Exhibitions vary from time to time, but I managed to see paintings and statues from Nordic, European and French art from 1300-1800 approximately. Moreover, there was the exhibition ‘We are the people’ showing a complete replica of the statue of Liberty in pieces which are scattered throughout the world. I did not take pictures of that as to my eyes it was just a piece of metal. There was also the Flowers and World views exhibition, that could be potentially interesting but I skipped it.
Admission to this museum is free. It is certainly worth it for art lovers, and I would recommend a quick tour for the rest simple people like me 🙂 The paintings from older times were definitely more interesting to me than modern art.
I hope you enjoy the pics!
