After arriving in Naxos island, quite exhausted from taking a ship very early from Athens, we settled in our wonderful hotel and headed straight for lunch! The pictures show a typical Greek tavern! Food was delicious and Naxos is famous for its greater variety of food compared to the rest of Aegean arid islands. All are wonderful though but this recharged our batteries. The view we had was Portara, the ancient unfinished temple of Apollo!
Looking forward to next summer! What about you?
Yes I might have posted several times about Malmö, but this area just a little bit north of the city centre, called Vastra Hamnen is among my favourites! Still in walking distance from the centre (half an hour let’s say) it is a good opportunity to cross the city, parks and residential areas with great architecture (last photo) similar to the blocks built in southern countries with gardens and balconies (!!!!), and that is something you don’t often see in Scandinavia!
I love it for a weekend or even a day trip as I live in Copenhagen! From Copenhagen’s central station you can take the train, cross Øresund bridge and arrive in Malmo within half an hour!
